today, I joined the mess

as I walked upstairs this morning after breakfast….I was ready to tackle the game room. I had been putting it off for days and I just knew that today would HAVE to be the day to clean it. It’s so easy for me to just walk right by the huge mess, or never go upstairs! as I walked in the room, I couldn’t even see the carpet. toys were everywhere. dylan had batteries in his mouth and avery was using my ipod as a phone. 5 minutes later, dylan had turned the rug over and started ripping the tag off the back into a million little pieces, and avery was playing with toothpaste.

it.never.ends.

I’m not sure why I clean up this mess every now and then….we ALL know that the second you turn around your kids are at it again….destroying. so why bother? I’m still trying to figure it out.
well, after I thought about yelling at my kids for the mess they had made and how nobody EVER picks up their toys….I thought of this… If you can’t beat them, join them. and so I did…with camera in hand:)

Beautiful idea. Avery’s too-too is the cutest thing I’ve ever seen by the way.
