not since 1929 has the happened….a WHITE CHRISTMAS. I looked out the window on christmas eve and saw that it started to snow a little…my kids prayed it would stick. and their prayers were answered.
later that evening we got ready to visit mark’s parent’s and then onto my parent’s to spend the night. these first two pictures of my boys are from the crazy snow blizzard. they couldn’t even stand out there for a second. the wind was blowing like crazy as you can see and it was FREEZING. I just laugh at these pictures but alteast we have proof that it did happen. we left to go to denton from fort worth- it took about 2 hours. It should have taken 40 minutes. the roads were horrible. cars everywhere on the side of the roads. It was so scary just sitting in the passenger side watching mark drive. not sure why we didn’t just stay home…maybe we should have watched the news:) I’m glad we made it safely…it was a very long night, but we were happy to make the drive from mark’s parent’s onto my parent’s….another long drive, but worth it. we missed the gingerbread house contest, but we’re ready for next year!

here’s christmas day. we had an amazing christmas. all the grandkids were having a blast in the snow. I wanted to get some shots of all the kids….and I did….I consider these “outtakes” and I love them:)
